I’m sitting here on the last morning of our trip, watching a view of the sun rising over the northeastern portion of Barcelona, Spain. There is a large, informal courtyard formed below our window by perfectly placed apartment buildings and many balconies, each encased in abundant plants or glass. Three or four mountain tops separate a pink sky from the brown and red clay of the Spanish rooftops. What a perfect morning! Alas, back to the States…
