Morning Walks in Ballard

This fall, we are living in the section of Seattle called Ballard, which was recently described in the New York Times as “independent-minded…Nordic and proudly maritime.”

We quickly made it a habit to go for walks in the morning, when few people are walking the streets, the line at Besalu cafe hasn’t yet extended out the door, and the fog is still sitting on the many bodies of water in Seattle.
